USAG Women

The USA Gymnastics, Junior Olympic program was developed with the belief that all athletes, regardless of their potential, must have a solid foundation of basic skills in order to advance safely. The program allows the gymnast to advance at her own pace. This demanding program requires talent, dedication and many hours of training.

The Junior Olympic Program is organized into 10 different levels of training or competition. Each level has multiple age groups and opportunities for participation and competition. Competition is carried out at local, state, regional and national levels.

USAG Men

The USA Gymnastics Men’s Junior Olympic competition program provides training and competitive opportunities for beginner to elite gymnasts from ages 5 to 18. This demanding program requires talent, dedication and many hours of training.

USAG Trampoline & Tumbling

The National Junior Olympic Program is regulated by the Trampoline & Tumbling J. O. Program Committee. It consists of Trampoline, Double Mini and Tumbling, Levels 4 through 10. This is an integrated program designed to give a structured plan for training a gymnast from the day he/she enters the gym through Level 10 competition.

USAG Acro

Acro is a competitive gymnastic discipline where partnerships of gymnasts work together and perform figures consisting of acrobatic moves, dance and tumbling, set to music. Gymnasts’ perform in pairs or groups and enter into and are judged at a specific level or age group category. In each partnership, the gymnasts’ different sizes and abilities will be balanced to complement each other in order to carry out the complex moves. Some will mainly carry out supporting and pitching roles, and are known as bases. They are then balanced with smaller gymnasts who become the ‘tops’.

USAG Xcel

The Xcel Program is an alternative USA Gymnastics competitive program offering individual flexibility to coaches and gymnasts. The goal of Xcel is to provide gymnasts of varying abilities and commitment levels the opportunity for a rewarding gymnastics experience.

JOGA

Jersey Optional Gymnastics Association is perfect for the gymnast that likes to compete and go at their own pace. Competitions are held within the State of New Jersey starting at the age of 7. This program involves a less intensive training schedule, allowing time for other activities as well.
