What will gymnastics do for my child?
The gymnastics curriculum will assist your child’s development in strength, agility, flexibility, muscular endurance, posture, balance, and overall body coordination. Gymnastics is a key compliment towards other sports your child may choose to do throughout their lives. It also teaches body awareness and self-confidence. Our goal is to provide challenges in a fun atmosphere, where your child can experience fitness in an exciting way.
Mask Policy During COVID-19
Currently, anyone over the age of two is required to wear masks at all times while in the facility. This of course, may change based on new guidelines.
What are your policies on make-up classes?
Each child is limited to 1 personal make-up per month. Personal make-ups will not carry over from month to month. You must schedule your make-up with the office.
What is your refund policy?
We do not offer refunds or credits. All sales are final. We do offer 1 free trial to make sure you like the class. Extra make ups will be given in the event the Indigo cancels a class.
How do I withdraw from a class?
To withdraw from a class and to be removed from the auto billing system, we require written notification via email or a completed withdrawal form located at the front desk by the 20th of each month.
How do I make my monthly payments?
Tuition is billed monthly and is due the 25th of each month for the following month. Any payment that has not been made before the 1st will receive a $25 late fee. We will automatically bill the card on file. If you prefer, you can pay by check or cash by stopping by the front desk. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express. There will be a $25 service charge for each returned check.
Do I get a discount if I sign up for two or more classes?
If your family enrolls in more than one class, you are eligible for a 10% discount on any additional classes.
Can I transfer classes after I register?
Yes, please notify the office and we will do our best to place you in another class that suits your schedule.
What should my child wear for gymnastics?
T-shirts, sweats or shorts are the best kind of clothing for classes. Leotards are recommended for the girls. No jeans or belts please. Bare feet are best. No jewelry should be worn in class. Stud earrings are the only acceptable earrings. Long hair must be tied back neatly away from the face. Shoes are not allowed on the gym floor.
How do I know when my child is ready to move to the next level?
Each child’s progress is evaluated, starting at the preschool level with skill assessments based upon USA Gymnastics guidelines and recreational fitness curriculums. Assessments of each student’s progress is tracked by your child’s instructor. Once all the required skills have been mastered you will be notified.
What happens when there is inclement weather?
In the case of bad weather, please call (908) 517-0808 or check our website www.indigogymnastics.com for updated information. If we do cancel classes, you will be able to make it up. Please call an hour before your class if the weather has recently turned bad.
