What will gymnastics do for my child?

The gymnastics curriculum will assist your child’s development in strength, agility, flexibility, muscular endurance, posture, balance, and overall body coordination. Gymnastics is a key compliment towards other sports your child may choose to do throughout their lives. It also teaches body awareness and self-confidence. Our goal is to provide challenges in a fun atmosphere, where your child can experience fitness in an exciting way.

Updated for 2025-2026

Class enrollments will automatically continue each month unless you request to withdraw. This guarantees your spot for the entire school year, or for as long as you choose to remain enrolled during the season. Monthly tuition is based on a 43-week, 10-month program (September 2 – June 27) and is not prorated by the number of classes in any given month.

Payments
Tuition is billed monthly and due by the 21st of each month for the upcoming month. A $25 late fee will be applied to any unpaid balance as of the 1st. We will automatically charge the card on file unless you choose to pay by check or cash at the front desk. We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. Please note, a $25 service fee will be charged for any returned checks.

Refund Policy
Please note that we do not offer refunds or credits for any reason.

Make-Up Policy
Each recreational class allows for one personal make-up per month to be used within the same month. Unused make-ups do not carry over from month to month. Additional make-ups will be provided only if a class is canceled. Make-ups are not offered for scheduled closures. All make-ups must be scheduled through the office and used while actively enrolled.

Class Transfer
If you need to switch classes, please contact the office. We will do our best to place your child in a class that fits your schedule.

Withdrawal from Class
To withdraw from a class and stop automatic billing, you must submit written notice by the 15th of the month, either via email or through the Parent Portal.

What to Wear
Girls: Gymnastics leotards are highly recommended. Tight-fitting t-shirts with shorts or leggings are also acceptable. Gymnasts should go barefoot. Hair must be tied back in a ponytail or braid. No jewelry except for small stud earrings. Dresses, skirts, and tights are not allowed as they limit movement.

Boys: A t-shirt with shorts or sweatpants is recommended. Gymnasts should go barefoot. Please avoid denim, khakis, corduroys, or clothing with belts, as these restrict movement.

What to Bring
Please send your child with a large water bottle labeled with their name, filled with cold water. Only water is allowed inside the gym area.

Class Evaluations
Progress is assessed starting at the preschool level using USA Gymnastics skill guidelines and recreational fitness benchmarks. Instructors track each student’s progress. You will be notified once your child has mastered all required skills and is ready to advance.

Drop-Off & Pick-Up Policy
You may drop your child off at the entrance. However, if they need help opening the car door, please park and walk them in. For pick-up, all parents must park and come inside to ensure your child’s safety.

Parent Viewing
We offer two large viewing areas with stationary bleachers where parents can comfortably observe classes.

Help Keep Our Gym Clean
If you see a spill, please notify the office right away. For bathroom issues, inform the front desk. Only clear water is permitted in the gym. No juice, Gatorade, soda, food, or gum allowed.

Lost Items
We cannot guarantee the safety of personal items. Please avoid sending children with valuables, money, electronics, or special items.

In case of severe weather, please call (908) 517-0808 or check our website www.indigogymnastics.com for updates. If classes are canceled, make-ups will be available. For last-minute weather changes, please call at least one hour before your scheduled class.
